We had a wonderful stay with a beautiful pool and excellent breakfasts. Just a bit noisy at times from the nearby street, but that's city life, right?

Amenities like the minibar and room service were non-existent, and the experience of trying to get a room with a sea view turned into a hassle, leading to a smaller room with limited views of the water, not to mention the absence of proper seating on the balconies.

The room was super comfy with a stunning view of the pool and ocean! Had a lekker time at brekkie, tons of options and everything was fresh. Plus, the staff were like my chommies, always ready to help and super friendly!

Only downside was the air con wasn't great at first, but they sorted it out eventually.

Air conditioning adventures and quirky charm

My stay involved some unexpected challenges, like a broken air conditioning unit at 1 am, but the staff responded quickly with a massive fan that helped get me through the night. The overall feel of the hotel was entertaining, reminding me of a Fawlty Towers episode, with some oddities like a room with an internal frosted window and exposed door bell mechanism. While my first bed was less than pleasant, the second one was comfortable and enhanced my experience.

The rooftop breakfast area offers an amazing view and a delicious selection, including omelettes cooked to your liking. The pool is clean and well-sized, making it a refreshing spot to unwind after a day of exploration. Free airport transfer just adds a cherry on top!
